Going with the regular Christmas songs would be an easy thing to do. I think Andrew has the advantage of having access to a different Christmas repertoire. If he can have a few songs that we all know, he also has the opportunity to teach us a few songs that we do not know much about. And for songs which we know the melodies, it would be interesting if he could go back to the the original lyrics. Some of those songs are a few hundred years old.
My point is: Andrew Johnston put us in contact with a kind of music we don’t hear much about and made us love it (well, in my case anyway). I would love for him to teach us more.
Just a thought.

There are so many songs that Andrew could sing and I know that he would do a brilliant job on all of them. This has been said many times by many of you but Andrew has touched an emotion deep inside of me. I can’t put it into words easily but I know that when I hear him sing, there is a happiness and feeling of peace that settles over me. I haven’t experienced this with any other voice. I am really thrilled to have discovered your talent, Andrew and wish you all the best this holiday season. A fan in Kansas.

Can’t wait to hear his new voice!  Certain it will be good.  Will miss the old one though.  So glad we got “One Voice” to remember it by though.
