Andrew Johnston - One Voice

Release Date: 29/09/2008

One Voice, the debut album from Andrew Johnston. Released 29th September 2008.

Description

The album ‘One Voice’, which Andrew recorded straight after the Britain’s Got Talent Tour ended, includes Fauré’s infamous ‘Pie Jesu’ for which Andrew is best known.  Other tracks include Eric Clapton’s beautiful ballad ‘Tears in Heaven’ which was written in 1992 as a tribute to his son who lost his life in a tragic accident, as well as ‘Walking in the Air’, the unmistakable classic from the 1982 film The Snowman – a song previously covered by Aled Jones who has proved an inspiration to Andrew and his pursuit of singing as a full time career.

Andrew has won the hearts of millions with his angelic voice and his steely determination through difficult times. Now with the release of his debut album, the sky is the limit for Andrew and his incredible talent.  With its intensity and purity of voice, this album will take your breath away.

Tens uma voz mesmo muito espectacular, fantastica, sem duvida uma das melhores que já ouvi sem duvida nenhuma

Amazingly beautiful… I agree that the arrangements really captured Andrew’s voice. I love “Agnus Dei” because my orchestra played “Adagio for Strings”, which is the same music. Can’t wait until the CD arrives!

Just like to say what a beautiful young boy with a beautiful voice.... i listen to his album regulary now i have it .. i seem to go into my own little world when i listen to him.

Hi Andrew! Congratulations to your success with singing. I also believe that your voice is very special. I cry each time I hear you (sorry for getting too sentimental)...but it is true. Thank you soo much for taking singing as a hobby and for working on your voice. I have also been singing my whole life and I have always loved it. If you go to http://www.myspace.com/sperancsa and http://www.myspace.com/sperancza you can hear me singing also. Who knows maybe one day we can get to sing together!? Take care, Speranca

One Voice arrived in the mail today. I ordered it immediately after coming across a youtube video of you singing on Britain’s Got Talent. I know I’m late discovering you but I do not live in England and don’t watch TV.

You have an extraordinary voice, far above the usual idea of talent. It expands my heart, gives me goosebumps and brings tears to my eyes. That is a powerful gift. I thank you for the courage it took to ignore the bullies and pursue your singing.  Everyone who hears you will be touched.

well done andrew..... i hope you always sucses in everything what you do.... all the best

This is to say that his voice has the haunting sound almost from heaven calling on to us to look up and search our souls.

the rendition of “Bright Eyes” is brilliant - it would be great to have that in your next album. Bless you for bringing us music for the soul!

I think Andrew has the voice of an angel!  I keep going back to youtube to play his audition over and over again.  Absolutely amazing.  Well done for making something of your life Andrew and overcoming your bully ordeal smile

Andrew, you certainly DO sound like an angel singing!!  Your voice is so pure and beautiful.  I am a music teacher in the U.S. and I am going to introduce you to my students in the fall.  (School is just about finished now.) I want them to hear what REAL music sounds like!!!  I think they will be amazed!  I wish you the best in your future endeavors!!  Keep your chin up, even as your voice goes through the inevitable changes.  You will always sing beautifully!! ☺
