Andrew Johnston - One Voice

Release Date: 29/09/2008

One Voice, the debut album from Andrew Johnston. Released 29th September 2008.

Description

The album ‘One Voice’, which Andrew recorded straight after the Britain’s Got Talent Tour ended, includes Fauré’s infamous ‘Pie Jesu’ for which Andrew is best known.  Other tracks include Eric Clapton’s beautiful ballad ‘Tears in Heaven’ which was written in 1992 as a tribute to his son who lost his life in a tragic accident, as well as ‘Walking in the Air’, the unmistakable classic from the 1982 film The Snowman – a song previously covered by Aled Jones who has proved an inspiration to Andrew and his pursuit of singing as a full time career.

Andrew has won the hearts of millions with his angelic voice and his steely determination through difficult times. Now with the release of his debut album, the sky is the limit for Andrew and his incredible talent.  With its intensity and purity of voice, this album will take your breath away.

I remember hearing you sing for the first time on You Tube, and I was instantly brought to tears flowing!!! I simply could not stop crying, as I sat there and kept saying over and over to myself, “this is the most beautiful voice I think I have ever heard”. Your voice Andrew is like God Himself chose one of His special angels in Heaven and placed that angelic voice in your body to reach sould for Him. It is “soul stirring”. Please continue to use it for His glory! I wish you all the very best here on earth, you have so much to live for and I know that “annointed” gift He has given you will only bring a multitude of blessings to you and to those who hear you sing.

Wow Andrew, Your honestly amazing, i honestly didnt expect such a lovely big voice coming out of such a young boy. I was completely upset when you didnt win, but thats not the important part. The important part is the fact that you made it to acheive your dream. You have a gift people can only dream of. When i heard about the bullying thing, i nearly cried, and im not one to cry over such things. i just think its amazing that you never gave up on what makes you happy. and look how far it has gotten you, please keep up the good work. and come to Canada to sing! i would definetly be going to one of those shows to see you. That would also liekly be my first concert ever. I know it will be worth every dime i spent on it smile

Take care!

- Katie

Thank you so much for sharing your voice with us. It is so calming. It gives me hope and peace. Thank you so much.

That Faure’s ‘Pie jesu’ sounds strikingly like Andrew Lloyd Webber’s...... wonderful rendition though!

Andrew has the most pure and beautiful voice I have ever heard.
