what a wonderful video!! i enjoyed it so much!! thanks, vince, for posting this (and for the additional link, Kyle!! i had to use that one). and thanks to Morag for taking the video and passing it along to share with all of us.
once again i was able to feel the excitement of meeting Andrew through another’s good fortune. loved watching Andrew open all his goodies. (could someone tell me the inscription on the St. Andrew’s necklace? my sound wasn’t very good and i could only catch parts of what Andrew was saying). and skimming stones - gosh, i haven’t done that in years!! what fun!!
Kyle, i have to totally agree with you about that announcer voice of Pearl’s husband. if anyone ever does a video of Andrew that needs narration - he’d be my first choice!!
what a wonderful treat this was!!
Lovely Pearl!! what a great video, Andrew looks as if he had a wonderful time with so many pressies too.. I am so pleased he recieved my card, and by the way thanks again Pearl and Andrew for my signed Album cover. Thanks for sharing your video Pearl and i am so pleased you had such a great time with Andrew and Moragxx
Hi, Donna, I can shed some light for you. The inscription reads, “Dear Andrew, Pavarotti II”
We were limited to 12 characters including spaces per line but amazingly his first name fit perfectly.
I agree that Ken’s voice is magnificent, rich and commanding.

Thanks, Joanne. What a wonderful, thoughtful gift for Andrew!! I am sure it will always hold a special place next to his heart. He looked so excited and touched when he opened it!
Great video Pearl, Looked like you all had a fantastic time
and Andrew was so appreciative of the gifts.’’
One thing I forgot to ask you did you all enjoy the Meal
pea and ham soup etc.
John, firstly, it is lovely to see you on the forum,a far too rare occurrence.
We did indeed have a wonderful time in Carlisle and Andrew was overwhelmed by his gifts.lovely that he remains the same polite appreciative young man that he ever was.
Ah! the pea and ham soup, I have to tell you John the lady who owns the hotel had never made it before and she did it especially for Andrew and the sticky toffee pudding too come to that. The soup was to die for, all home made and really delicious, so much so that I had hoped to repeat the experience the next night and her husband had polished it all off.!!!!Andrew declared that they were the best he had ever tasted.can’t be better praise!! Pearl xx
