Hello everyone - some wonderful news has just come to my attention - Andrew’s first audition video has been posted on http://www.catholic.org/video under Most Popular. Catholic online has a huge audience of over 100,000 a day with visitors coming from over 120 countries. If people would like to check out the link and send it to others, it would stay up there longer and might get forwarded to many more people who have never heard Andrew sing. Love Morag xxx

well ok we know Andrew is still fine tuning his voice after mother nature decided to crash the party, but hey, we’re never ones to rest on our laurels here… no sir indeed… how about a dry run of the future tour we know is going to happen....

and thats where you lot come into the equation…

it’s simples… (I hope… ) all you need to do is thus....

down below is a photo of Andrew… we would like you to print out the picture as praticably large as possible, A4 should do the trick I should imagine… then, carefully cut round the picture to make yourself a miniature ‘cardboard cut-out’ of Andrew… (younger members will need to get a parent, older friend, or legally appointed guardian to do the cutting as scissors can be dangerous...)

now here’s the (hopefully!) fun part…

we KNOW that members of this community are based all over the world… so we would like you, wherever you are, to photograph ‘Andrew’ so it appears he is in your part of the world, hopefully you can get a nice shot in perspective so it would appear that he is actually there, this is the effect we are after… hence the ‘virtual tour’ bit…

example....

if you have a car on your drive, and you are standing next to it holding the cutout next to it, as you walk further away holding the cutout, the scale will appear to change due to the distance between them, at a certain point you will be looking at the cutout and the car will appear as if it’s the correct size in proprtion to the cutout of andrew…

I only have the one picture up at this time, but i’m sure Andrew and his wonderful mother would be able to provide us with another FULL LENGTH pic (preferably with footwear included) on a nice white/light background so we can add a little variety to the shots… maybe andrew will provide a couple of different poses… (hint hint mr Johnston), if he can keep still for long enough that is....

so, once you have your picture, attach it to an email and send it to the following address

AJCOMPETITIONS at Googlemail dot com

we will then have a little fun by posting the pics up and seeing if the other members can guess where he is… picturing him near a famous or well known landmark may help… oh, and NO PHOTOSHOP… we only want REAL PHOTOGRAPHS…

ha ha… you gotta earn the prizes here… yes, the picture judged to be the most interesting by Andrew and his mother will be rewarded with a prize of a signed CD or a signed, framed photograph…

so, get snapping.... and most of all have fun.... and don’t be afraid to get yourself in the shot too if you feel especially creative....

enter as many times as you like, we’ll keep this one running til November 31st 2009 to give people a chance to get creative.... and if you have any questions or need any help, please contact any of the admin team....

I have a tale to tell, about me.
I have never been a computer whizz, the most i did was look on e bay occasionally, then, i saw this young boy on tv in Britains Got Talent, and i was impressed, very impressed, and i voted for him every week, i was so moved by his performances , that i took courage and looked for him on youtube, (via assistance from my son).i watched his performance over and over, and then decided to find his website,(my son came to my aid yet again). After a few weeks of just looking at the posts on the forum i decided to join, but never posted on it, untill one day with a lot of encouragement from Pearl (thank you Pearl) i started to post short sentences, the rest, as they say is history, im on here every night and day.
Well because of the nature of andrews site we can go to facebook ,youtube, bebo ect, to see him and about him, this taught me venture into exploring my computer more, and i am now a
regular facbook user as well.
This ,for those who may not use it ,, is a site where friends can be found , friends of friends and so on
.Its on facebook that only last week my sister found me, a sister that i havent seen or heard from for around 30 years,i knew she moved to wembley but not where, and not only that but i also have another 2 sister and a brother, who because of circmstances where born and still live in Australia, and may i add i have never ever seen or spoken too, and the sister (carole who found me on facebook) has found and been talking to via phonne calls and e mails the ones in Australia.
This all happened Only last week, and im so excited , it means that for all my life i have finally found all my siblings (i also have one more sister living down south i have yet to find but carole says she thinks she knows where becase they have been close untill recently (minor tiff as family have).

SO THANK YOU ANDREW< because of you i have gone to the computer used it learned it and found two prizes, ONE is you and your mum TWo is my long lost family
Whew, bit long winded but i had to tell my tale, all of it true as god be my judge.

Hi All

A few of the regular members of the forums may have been aware that Linda has had some health problems for a while now, We have recently learned that her health has taken a turn for the worse and she has been diagnosed with cancer. Having met Linda when Kyle visited earlier this year, and spoken with other people on the site, I know that Linda has always done her best to appear happy even though at times she has been in great pain. With this in mind I would just like to highlight that even with her own health issues she has been on here as a regular posting and chatting via PM and has inherited a second little family that would like to join together to send our best wishes and tell her that she will be in our thoughts on new years eve when her treatment begins.

Please take a few minutes to leave linda a message below as I know she will be on here during the christmas period

Ok, also known as Fans Got Talent. So...what talents do we fans have? Is it playing musical armpits? Whistling through your nose? Tell us what YOU can do! Personally, I have played the flute since I was in 5th grade...that equals 30 years...lol. I also like to dabble in writing childrens stories and poetry. Who’s next?
